When was your organization created?

1934 is the official year when our Polish School commenced its activities for the Polish community in Calgary.

What is the main goal of your organization?

The main goal of the school is the motto: “Faithfulness to one’s roots is always creative”. To teach students the Polish language and educate them in Polish history, traditions, and literature.

Over the course of your history, what is your organization most proud of?

We are most proud of our continuous activity in the preservation of the Polish language for generations of Poles in Calgary and neighboring areas, promoting knowledge of Polish History, traditions, and Belles-lettres, as well as Nobel Prize winning Poles.
