When was your organization created? |
The club was founded on March 14, 1974. It is a social and non-profit organization.
What is the main goal of your organization? |
The main goals behind the establishment of the club are:
– cultivating our native language and the heritage of our Polish culture
– making time more enjoyable in the years of happy old age for our members
– passing on Polish traditions to young people
– developing interpersonal bonds in the field of providing help to
elderly people, and
– representing older, sick and lonely people in the community.
Over the course of your history, what is your organization most proud of? |
We are proud of 50 years of growing in numbers. We enjoy our monthly gatherings where we meet interesting people and build friendships. During meeting in Polish Canadian Cultural Centre, we entertain seniors and we find new passions. The monthly meetings of the Club are very popular among seniors.
